Nissan has decided to sell two generations of the Kicks crossover at the same time

Nissan has decided to keep the first generation of the Kicks crossover on sale next door to an all-new generation of the model (pictured below). The older version will now be called Kicks Play and will be a more budget-friendly alternative.

Here's What We Know
In the US, the 2025 Nissan Kicks Play starts at $22,910 including shipping costs, which is $310 cheaper than the next-generation Kicks, which starts at $23,220.
Standard equipment on the Kicks Play includes:
- Cruise control
- A 7-inch multimedia system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support
- Three USB
- Nissan Safety Shield 360 suite of safety systems: lane departure warning, rear cross traffic monitoring, automatic reverse braking, and the like.
Engine: The Kicks Play is powered by a 1.6-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with 122bhp and 114lb ft (155Nm) of torque. The next-generation model uses a 2.0-litre engine with 141 hp, and for the first time, an all-wheel drive system is available for the Kicks.
