The new AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 "Krackan" processor based on Zen 5 architecture was tested in PassMark benchmark, showing decent results.
Here's What We Know
This 8-core/16-thread APU is aimed at the affordable laptop segment, offering powerful Radeon 860M integrated graphics. In PassMark benchmarks, the processor scored 3,919 points in the single-core test, which is 3.6% faster than the Zen 4-based Ryzen 7 8845HS. However, it lags behind the Ryzen 7 8845HS in the multi-threaded test.

The processor has a base frequency of 2.0GHz and can be overclocked up to 5.0GHz. Krackan Point is expected to cater to gamers on a tight budget, offering decent processing power for less than $1,000. A 6-core/12-threaded version of this processor is also reported to be available. This test shows the potential of the new processor, but more data will be needed for final conclusions.
