Samsung's Galaxy S22 flagships are getting a new update in Europe and the US
Samsung continues to improve the security of its mobile devices and another flagship series, the Galaxy S22, has received an update.
Here's What We Know
Samsung is rolling out a December security update for the European versions of the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra with model numbers SM-S901B, SM-S906B and SM-S908B. The update has firmware version S90xBXXSDEXKA.
The security patch for December 2024 addresses several vulnerabilities found in the previous version of the software.
The update has also already appeared for the US versions of the Galaxy S22 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chips. The update is available for the SM-S901U, SM-S906U and SM-S908U models, which run on ATT networks. For these models, the firmware comes with build number S90xUSQS7EXK9. The new patch is coming soon to S22 devices and other carriers in the US.
The One UI 7.0 beta update for the Galaxy S22 lineup should be expected most likely as early as next month.
