Machinarium puzzle game gets DirectX 12 version for modern systems, but only in Epic Games Store so far
The puzzle game Machinarium is one of the most popular games by the Czech studio Amanita Design. However, the game was released back in 2009 and doesn't always work well on modern systems. But they have already started to fix it.
Here's What We Know
Machinarium is now available on the Epic Games Store, but this version is already with DirectX 12, so new systems will run the game without any problems.
As for Steam and other platforms, Machinarium with DirectX 12 will be released in early 2025, but Amanita did not announce the exact date.
In Machinarium, players take on the role of the robot Josef, who finds himself in a junkyard after being attacked by bandits. His goal is to return to the city of Machinarium, stop the criminals, and rescue his girlfriend Bertha. The player has to solve a variety of puzzles using point and click mechanics that allow you to interact with objects and characters on the screen.
