"The future of handheld gaming will come at CES" - Lenovo is preparing a massive event with important guests from Valve and Microsoft

Lenovo has announced an important event. It will take place during the Consumer Electronic Show (CES), which will be held in Las Vegas from 7 to 10 January.

Here's What We Know

Lenovo is not stingy on loud words and in the invitations stated that the show will be called "Lenovo Legion x AMD: The future of gaming handhelds" (Lenovo Legion x AMD: The future of gaming handhelds), during which indeed "the future of gaming handhelds".

Interestingly, one of the key creators of Valve's SteamOS and popular Steam Deck gaming consoles, Pierre-Loup Griffais, will be attending the show as a special guest.

Another guest will be Jason Ronald, Microsoft's vice president of gaming devices and Xbox ecosystem.

The Verge's sources claim that the "Lenovo Legion x AMD" event could see the announcement of the company's first SteamOS-powered portable device. Presumably, it's a new Legion Go model with a Steam button.

The "Lenovo Legion x AMD" event will take place on 7 January.
