The Ukrainian military for the first time conducted a ground operation involving exclusively unmanned ground vehicles and FPV drones.

Here's What We Know

The 13th Khartiia Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine (13th Khartiia Brigade) conducted a successful attack on the positions of the Russian occupants in the Kharkiv direction near the village of Lyptsi.

Dozens of unmanned ground platforms were involved, which were controlled by operators from the command centre. Thanks to coordinated work and advanced technologies, including AI and machine vision, the fighters managed to complete the task without involving a single infantryman on the front line.

In addition to drones, with machine guns and grenade launchers mounted on them, the AFU used ground platforms to remotely clear and plant mines.

This operation was one of the first in the world to be carried out using unmanned ground systems in real combat conditions. This approach will allow the war to become more technological and level the enemy's numerical superiority. But most importantly, it will save human lives, which is what unmanned technology does.
