Instagram has added a new feature for scheduling messages - you can now set the date and time of sending in advance. However, there are some limitations.

Here's What We Know

Messages cannot contain media files such as GIFs, photos, or videos. However, the ability to schedule text messages 29 days in advance is available on both Android and iOS.

The integration with Messenger, which took place back in 2020, has improved the functionality of Instagram Direct, and now there is a message scheduling option that makes Instagram more similar to popular messengers such as iMessage or Gmail.

How To Switch It On

To schedule a message, you need to open a chat, write a text, and then hold down the blue arrow icon. A menu will then appear where you can select the date and time of the message. To change or delete a scheduled message, click on "scheduled messages" and then select the desired action. Once you have set everything, click on the send button and your message will be scheduled.
