Google Photos is testing a new row of shortcuts that makes it easier to access your favourites and recently added photos, as well as your Recycle Bin and last viewed album.

Here's What We Know

These shortcuts are located below the top bar and above the memories carousel, which changes the app's familiar interface. The new feature is available in version 7.11 for iOS, but has not yet arrived on Android.

This innovation moves the Photos grid down the screen, but provides faster access to frequently used features. Users can expect these changes to eventually appear in the Android version of Google Photos as well, but when that will be is not yet known.
