Bloomberg: Apple's AirPods Pro 3 headphones will be able to measure users' heart rate
Reputable insider and Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman has shared some interesting information about the capabilities of Apple's next generation TWS headphones.
Here's What We Know
In his weekly Power On digest, Gurman revealed that the US IT giant is working on adding the ability to measure users' heart rate to the AirPods Pro 3.
Apple ramps up work on turning AirPods into a health device. The company currently has teams experimenting with a variety of enhancements, including temperature sensing, heart-rate monitoring and technology that tracks a slew of physiological measures. https://t.co/0yIy1KBact

Apple's internal testing has shown that the Apple Watch's heart-rate data is more accurate than AirPods, but the difference between the data is not significant.
Implementing such a feature in AirPods allows for more accurate tracking of vital signs and health care. However, we can't say yet that this idea will be fully realised.
The AirPods Pro 3 release date is unknown, possibly going on sale in late 2025 or late 2026.
