Samsung has started testing One UI 7 for Galaxy S21 FE
The stable One UI 7 update is expected to be released after the launch of the Galaxy S25 series in late January 2025. However, the exact timeline for the update to start rolling out to existing devices is still unknown. The Galaxy S21 FE may receive the update at the same time as the Galaxy S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra models, although previous updates have come to the FE model with a delay.
Android 15 will be the last major OS update for the Galaxy S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra, but the Galaxy S21 FE will also get Android 16 since it was released with a newer version of Android and One UI. The One UI 7 update will bring a host of new features and improvements, including better customisation of the lock screen and home screen, as well as new options for managing notifications and quick settings.
