New information that has appeared on the web reveals details about the upcoming HP Omen Max 16 gaming laptop, which may be presented at CES 2025.

Here's What We Know

According to the leaks, this laptop will have a powerful Intel Core Ultra 9 275 HX processor based on the Arrow Lake-HX architecture and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card with 16 GB of VRAM.

Other specifications include 32 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM and a 1 TB NVMe SSD. In terms of design, the new HP Omen Max 16 laptop is slightly larger than its predecessor. Its dimensions have increased from 10.2 inches to 10.5 inches in length, and its thickness has increased from 0.925 inches to 1.08 inches. This will allow for a larger keyboard with an additional number pad and improved cooling, which will be needed for the powerful components.

The laptop has no major design changes compared to the previous model, but an updated keyboard and improved cooling system will make it more efficient under heavy loads. The powerful processor and graphics card will require improved cooling, which will be provided by the new case.

This is unofficial information and the exact specifications and announcement date are subject to change.

The previous HP Omen 16 model was powered by an Intel Core i7-12900H processor clocked at up to 5.0 GHz and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics card with 8 GB of GDDR6 video memory. It also had 32GB of DDR5-4800MHz RAM and a 2TB NVMe SSD.

The 16.1-inch display offered a QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution with a 165Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time. The OMEN Tempest cooling system provided efficient heat dissipation during intense gaming.
