Hisense has announced a new smart fridge called Jumbo Side-by-Side.

Here's What We Know

The company will officially present the Jumbo Side-by-Side fridge at CES 2025. In addition, the brand will introduce the AI Dish Designer feature, which will allow users to create personalised recipes on the built-in screen of the fridge. These innovations promise to significantly simplify the cooking process through integration with the ConnectLife platform.

The new Dish Designer feature was developed in partnership with Microsoft and allows you to generate recipes based on user preferences, dietary restrictions and available ingredients. The Meal Planner tool has been added to help plan meals, taking into account both nutritional needs and any nutritional goals.

Also, the updated ConnectLife platform can be used to control other smart devices in the home that are compatible with Google Home or Matter.

At CES 2025, Hisense will also showcase the largest refrigerator in its class, the Jumbo Side-by-Side. Its features include a dedicated pizza space, ice and water dispensers, and adjustable shelves for easy storage. The fridge is equipped with a smart screen that allows you to view recipes, control connected devices and even stream content.

The company has also announced a second fridge, the FreshVault French Door, which is likely to lack smart features. The price and release date of both models, as well as the Dish Designer tool, remain unknown.
