Lynk Co have shared the first official photos of the L946 crossover undergoing winter testing in China. It will be the flagship model and will compete with such cars as Aito M9, Li Auto L9 and Denza N9 in the domestic market of this country.

Here's What We Know

The Lynk Co brand was created in 2017 by Geely and Volvo. It was taken over by Geely-owned Zeekr Technology in 2024. The Lynk Co line-up for the Chinese domestic market consists of 10 models and will soon be complemented by a flagship model, which is currently known as the L946.

The test car is covered with camouflage, but it does not prevent to consider the main design features of the novelty. It is a large car with a slightly sloping roof line, hidden door handles, unusual design of front lights and a prominent LiDAR unit in the centre above the windscreen. From the side, the L946 can even be mistaken for a Range Rover Sport.

According to Chinese media, the L946 has a three-row cabin with two independent captain's chairs in the second row.

CarNewsChina expects this vehicle to get a plug-in hybrid powertrain (PHEV). Its specifications will be known closer to the launch date. The L946 is expected to go on sale in March 2025 with a starting price of around 300,000 yuan ($41,100).
