OnePlus unveils Buds Ace 2 headphones: powerful sound, ANC, 43 hours of battery life and dual-device support
OnePlus has officially launched the new Buds Ace 2 headphones, the successor to last year's Buds Ace model, in the Chinese market. Along with the headphones, the company also announced the Ace 5 series.
Here's What We Know
The OnePlus Buds Ace 2 cost 169 yuan ($23), but are currently available at a discounted price of 159 yuan ($21.78).
OnePlus Buds Ace 2 have a lightweight and comfortable design (each headphone weighs 4.2 g) and are available in Submarine Black and Shadow Green colours. They are equipped with 12.4 mm dynamic drivers that deliver powerful bass and clear sound.
BassWave 2.0 technology enhances the bass for a richer sound. In addition, there are 10 levels of bass tuning, allowing you to tailor the sound to your own preferences.
The headphones feature Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and a dual microphone with AI technology for clear calls, even in noisy environments. There's also a transparency mode that lets you hear the sound around you while listening to music or watching movies.
OnePlus Buds Ace 2 are certified by TÜV Rheinland, which confirms their high durability. They can withstand extreme temperatures of up to 55°C, over 20,000 case opening cycles, and a drop test from a height of 1.5 metres for the case and 1.8 metres for the earbuds.
In terms of battery life, the headphones provide up to 43 hours of playback (with ANC turned off). 10 minutes of fast charging allows you to listen to music for up to 11 hours. Bluetooth 5.4 guarantees a stable connection and low latency of 47ms, making them ideal for gamers.
Buds Ace 2 are IP55-rated for water and dust resistance. They support connectivity to two devices at the same time, allowing you to easily switch between them without having to reconnect.
