Publisher Square Enix has revealed updated sales statistics of the famous action-RPG NieR: Automata.

The game, created by Japanese studio PlatinumGames and famous game designer Yoko Taro, was released in 2017 and received critical acclaim and won the love of gamers.
NieR: Automata has sold 9 million copies since release, a great result for a complex and niche game.
At first gamers didn't understand NieR: Automata, but in time the game gained a cult status, which became possible due to the unconventional approach to the narrative, complex and exciting gameplay and a huge number of endings.
