Vivo has officially unveiled its new budget smartphone Vivo Y200+ 5G in the Chinese market.

The device features a 6.68-inch IPS display with 720x1608 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 1000 nits. The smartphone is certified by TÜV Rheinland for blue light reduction and DC global dimming, which reduces screen flicker.
Inside the Vivo Y200 Plus 5G is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, which is paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of inbuilt storage in the maximum configuration. Apart from this, support for MicroSD memory cards is also available.

For photography, the smartphone has a dual camera setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel portrait camera for selfies. The Vivo Y200+ 5G also stands out with its 6,000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging to achieve a 50 per cent charge in just 36 minutes.
Despite the large battery, the device has a slim and ergonomic design with a thickness of just 7.99mm and IP64 certification for protection against dust and water splashes. The smartphone is powered by Funtouch OS and also features 5G and dual stereo speakers.
The smartphone will be available in three colours - Apricot Sea, Sky City and Midnight Black, and three memory configurations - 8/256GB, 12/256GB and 12/512GB. Prices in China range from $150 for the base model and up to $205 for the most expensive model.
