An Italian website has revealed a possible launch date for the Nintendo Switch 2
Once again, a new launch date for the Nintendo Switch 2 handheld gaming console, which many have been anticipating for a long time, has appeared on the internet.

Italian website UAGNA reported that the new Nintendo Switch 2 console (suggested name) could go on sale on 28 March 2025. According to this source, accessories for the console, both original and third-party, will be available for purchase on that date. Therefore, it is assumed that the console itself will also go on sale on the same day. While the information has yet to be officially confirmed, it is possible that this could turn out to be true.
Earlier this month, there were reports that the Nintendo Switch 2 could be announced on 8 January 2025. But again, this has not been officially confirmed.
The new console is expected to feature an octa-core processor with 12 ARM Cortex-A78AE cores and an Ampere architecture-based graphics processor with 2,048 CUDA cores. NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution and Ray Reconstruction technologies are also expected to be supported. It is reported that the console is likely to display 4K resolution and 30 frames per second when connected to a docking station, while rival consoles from Sony and Microsoft have been supporting gameplay at 60 and even 120 frames per second for years.
Earlier, Nintendo's president said that the new console will be fully compatible with games for the original Switch.
