A leak has revealed the Redmi Turbo 4's launch date, as well as its iPhone 16-like design
Redmi is gearing up to unveil its new Turbo 4 smartphone in early January in China. A recent leak on Weibo has revealed the launch date and design of the device.

The new Turbo 4 is likely to debut on 2 January, as revealed by the leaked photo, which shows a billboard with a Redmi Turbo 4 promotional teaser. In the image, we can see the date 2 January 2025 and the time 2:00 pm, which seems to be the date and time of the smartphone's launch.

An image has also surfaced showing the rear of the smartphone, which resembles the iPhone 16. The image shows that the smartphone features a vertical dual camera, flat edges and possibly a flat screen on the front. The back panel has a vertical line suggesting a dual-colour design and the "REDMI" logo is located at the bottom right corner. The Turbo 4's design is described as simpler and more refined, with understated colour options.

According to previous leaks, the smartphone will feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Inside, there will be a Dimensity 8400 chipset, up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The Turbo 4 will run Android 15 with HyperOS 2 shell. For photography, there is a 20-megapixel front camera and a dual rear camera with a 50 MP primary sensor and an additional 8 MP sensor. The 6550 mAh battery will support 90W fast charging.
