Sony suggests considering The Last of Us dilogy a holiday classic
What is your favourite Christmas game? Batman: Arkham Origins, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, or maybe Tom Clancy's The Division? But Sony believes that The Last of Us dilogy can add to this list.
Here's What We Know
Sony has hinted that The Last of Us Part I and The Last of Us Part II could become new "holiday classics".
The official PlayStation Twitter account posted a video that combines game scenes with Christmas music, accompanied by a caption: "Any game can be a holiday classic if you want it to be."
Although the game is not directly related to the holiday theme, like Batman or Spider-Man, The Last of Us has some winter landscapes, and does a game have to be winter to become a "holiday classic"?
Some players agreed with this, and some started to joke, especially mentioning the moment with the golf club, which is called "a great gift for Joel".
In any case, there are no new releases now, so why not play through these charming games during your holidays or vacation? And if you are interested in a remaster of the second time around, you can read more about The Last of Us Part II Remastered in our review.
