Vivo announces iQOO Z9 Turbo Endurance with bigger battery and updated software
Vivo has announced the launch of the new iQOO Z9 Turbo Endurance model, which will have a larger battery than the previous version. The novelty will be launched on 3 January 2025, replacing the current iQOO Z9 Turbo model.

iQOO Z9 Turbo Endurance will have a new 6400 mAh battery, which is a significant improvement over the 6000 mAh of the previous version. Despite the increased capacity, the phone will retain its size and weight of 196 grams. This was made possible by the introduction of a more energy-intensive Si/C material, which was previously used in the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ model.
Another important change is the updated software - OriginOS 5, which will replace the previous OriginOS 4. In addition, the new product will have support for a dual-frequency GPS system, which will allow you to more accurately determine the location using L1 and L5 satellites.

Other characteristics of the vivo iQOO Z9 Turbo Endurance will be identical to the Z9 Turbo model. Therefore, it is expected to have a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED screen with support for 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and built-in fingerprint sensor. The phone will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, and a 6400mAh battery.
For selfies, the Z9 Turbo Endurance will have a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The back of the device may include a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilisation and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera.
It is expected that the price category of the new device will remain at the level of the previous model, which cost 1999 yuan (approximately USD 275) in China for the version with 12/256 GB of memory.
The iQOO Z9 Turbo Endurance will be available in a new deep blue colour, as well as in black and white variants.
