Xiaomi has officially confirmed the launch date of its new mid-range smartphone, the Redmi Turbo 4, which visually resembles the iPhone 16.

Here's What We Know

The device will be presented on 2 January 2025 in China. This was confirmed by promotional materials that appeared on the company's official social media pages.

Redmi Turbo 4 will be one of the first smartphones to be equipped with the latest MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chipset. Xiaomi will use a special version of this processor with the Ultra prefix, but what exactly will distinguish it from the standard version is still unknown.

Judging by the official images, the new smartphone will have a design similar to the iPhone 16, with a vertical camera module containing two lenses: a 50MP main lens and an additional 8MP ultra-wide lens. From the front, the smartphone will have almost flat sides and thin bezels around the screen.

The Redmi Turbo 4 display is expected to have a 6.67-inch LTPS OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. An important feature is the 6550mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging.

As for the international launch, there is a possibility that the Redmi Turbo 4 will be introduced to the global market under the name Poco X7 Pro, and its improved version may appear as Poco F7.

As you know, in Geekbench tests, the Redmi Turbo 4 scored 1625 points in single-core mode and 6406 points in multi-core mode, which is significantly higher than the Redmi K70E with a Dimensity 8300-Ultra processor.
