Casio seems to be planning to re-release the CRW001-1 ring watch for sale in the US.

Here's What We Know

The device went on sale in the US on 26 December on Casio's official website at 10:00 local time. It was quickly sold out in a few minutes, and some buyers encountered technical difficulties when placing orders, which caused disappointment.

According to Reddit user Temporary_Airline_58, there is a possibility that Casio is preparing a new batch of CRW001-1 for the US market. He shared a screenshot of a response from a Casio America support representative, which states that the second batch will be available, but the exact date is still unknown.

In addition, the response from Casio clarifies that the company did not send any emails to customers during the launch. It is currently unknown whether there will be such notifications in the future when the watch goes back on sale.

The CRW001-1 is a ring watch with a stainless steel case, the design of which is reminiscent of the popular GMW-B5000D-1 model. It features an LCD display that supports dual time zone display, a stopwatch function with 1/100th of a second accuracy, and a chime.

The ring fits a finger size 22, but it can be adjusted with additional inserts. This gadget is released in honour of Casio's 50th anniversary.

The Casio ring watch is expected to become available in other countries soon. Its release is scheduled for 8 January in Singapore and 13 January in Australia.
