Vivo may be preparing to release a more premium smartphone in the X200 series - the X200 Ultra.

Here's What We Know

According to a well-known Chinese insider Digital Chat Station, this device will have a triple main camera, including two 50 MP sensors and one 200 MP sensor.

It is expected that one of the 50MP cameras will have a wide-angle lens, the other will have an ultra-wide lens, and the 200MP camera will act as a periscopic telephoto lens. The ultra-wide camera is likely to use a Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor, while the periscopic camera will use a Samsung ISOCELL HP9 sensor.

This isn't the first time Vivo has collaborated with Samsung to develop cameras for its flagships. Earlier in the X200 series, the X200 Pro has already used Samsung sensors for its ultra-wide and telephoto cameras.

In recent years, Samsung has been strengthening its position in the smartphone sensor market by offering products that deliver high quality images at an affordable price. Thanks to this strategy, the company is gradually becoming a key player in the industry.

Another feature of the Vivo X200 Ultra will be support for 4K video recording at up to 120 frames per second, which significantly increases its appeal to those who enjoy high-quality video recording.

According to the leak, the Vivo X200 Ultra is expected to be launched in March or April 2025. This smartphone is positioned as a premium device that will take a higher position compared to the Vivo X200 Pro.

Although there are no official details about the new product yet, insiders predict that the smartphone will have significant potential to compete among the flagship models of 2025. We are waiting for the official announcement from Vivo.
