Vivo likely to introduce X Fold5 Pro folding smartphone and XR headset in 2025
Vivo seems to be preparing to debut a new foldable smartphone, the X Fold5 Pro, in 2025.

It is reported that the company is likely to stop releasing several foldable models per year, focusing on one top-of-the-line device. The new X Fold5 Pro will be the successor to the X Fold3 Pro, which gained popularity due to its international sales.
According to rumours spread by industry sources, the new product will have advanced features, including the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, but its debut may not take place until the third quarter of 2025, which will allow the OnePlus Open 2 to become the first next-generation foldable smartphone on the market.
Nevertheless, Vivo may also introduce an XR headset to compete with products such as Apple's Vision Pro and Samsung's Project Moohan.
In addition, Vivo will not forget about its smartphone lineup. The new flagship X200 Ultra, like its predecessor, is expected to support content creation with advanced Zeiss cameras and a new specialised image processing chipset. The first models with this chip will be available in the first half of 2025.
