LG to unveil smart fridge, microwave and oven with food recognition and AI recipes at CES 2025
LG will present new smart kitchen appliances from the Signature series at CES 2025, which will take place on 7 January. The new products include a fridge, microwave and oven enhanced with artificial intelligence technologies.
Here's What We Know
One of the main exhibits will be the LG Signature French Door refrigerator with a T-OLED panel that can be used as a touch screen or become transparent so that users can view the contents of the refrigerator without opening the door.
Thanks to the ThinQ Food system and built-in camera, the fridge offers recipes and meal plans based on the food you have at home and your preferences. It also has a playlist to create a comfortable cooking environment.
The LG SIGNATURE microwave and double induction hob with slide-in double oven enhance your cooking experience with its versatile cooking options.
The microwave features three cameras that allow you to monitor the cooking process without opening the door. It also has a large 27-inch 1080p display, built-in speakers and Bluetooth for streaming content right in the kitchen. The display also allows you to control other smart devices in your home.
Both devices recognise foods and offer appropriate recipes. The price of the new products has not yet been announced, but they promise to change the approach to kitchen cooking.
In addition, LG has also introduced a new SIGNATURE dishwasher that blends in with the cabinets to create a stylish look for a modern kitchen. The retractable handle automatically 'pulls out' when a hand approaches, and the machine features LG QuadWash™ Pro and Dynamic Heat Dry™ technologies to ensure efficient dishwashing and drying.
