Honor unveils Tablet X9 Pro with Snapdragon 685 chipset and 8300mAh battery in China
Honor has introduced the Honor Tablet X9 Pro in China, which combines powerful features with an affordable price. This is a significant upgrade from the Honor Pad X9, which was released in 2023.

The Honor Tablet X9 Pro has an 11.5-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2000 × 1200 pixels, which supports 1.07 billion colours, provides a peak brightness of 400 nits and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.
The screen to body ratio is 86%. The tablet is powered by a Snapdragon 685 chipset with Adreno 610 GPU and MagicOS 9.0 operating system based on Android 15.
The device is equipped with an 8-megapixel main camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls and basic photography. The tablet has an 8300 mAh battery with support for 35W fast charging via USB Type-C. It also has four speakers, a microphone, WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1 support.
The Honor Tablet X9 Pro is also equipped with several advanced features, such as TUV Rheinland certifications for blue light and flicker protection, AI facial expression detection, AI-powered audio memos, multi-screen collaboration, and parental controls. The tablet has additional educational tools such as special apps and features to support education.
The device weighs 457 g and measures 267.3 × 167.4 × 6.77 mm. It is available in three colours: Azure, Jade Dragon Snow, and Cangshan Gray.
Prices for the Honor Tablet X9 Pro: 6/128GB model - CNY 1099, 8/128GB - CNY 1199 (price at launch), and 8/256GB - CNY 1499. Pre-orders are already available on Honor's website in China, and official sales will begin on 10 January 2025.
