Xiaomi reveals design and specs of Poco X7 and Poco X7 Pro ahead of 9 January launch

Xiaomi is preparing to introduce a new series of Poco X7 smartphones on 9 January 2025.

The Poco X7 Pro model will be the global version of the Redmi Turbo 4. Xiaomi has officially unveiled the new products, confirming the information that appeared earlier.

The Poco X7 Pro has a design similar to the Redmi Turbo 4, with a camera that resembles the iPhone 16. This smartphone will be available in an exclusive colour different from other Poco models. The Poco X7 has a design similar to the Redmi Note 14 Pro. The images show a triple camera on the back and a unique combination of black and yellow colours.

Although both devices look similar to their Chinese counterparts, there may be some changes in specifications. This is typical for international versions of smartphones, and it is likely that the battery in global models will be smaller. However, other key features should remain unchanged.

The Poco X7 Pro is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 8400 Ultra chipset, while the Poco X7 is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 7300 Ultra. Both smartphones seem to have 6.67-inch screens with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 50MP primary camera.

The POCO F7 Pro has reportedly received a new approval from the certification body TDRA in the UAE. Previously, POCO F7 Pro was spotted on the Singaporean certification platform IMDA and in the IMEI database.

The price of the new products has not yet been announced, but for comparison, the previous Poco X6 model cost from $249, and the Pro version - from $299. Xiaomi has already confirmed that the Poco X7 series will go on sale on 9 January.
