WhatsApp is testing a new feature that will allow users to get chat support directly in the app

This feature, called Chat with Us, will provide a quick way to contact the support team when the answers generated by artificial intelligence are not sufficient.
In 2023, WhatsApp launched a test version of AI-powered chat support, which later became available to all users. The messenger is currently working on improving support for the web version.
The option is currently being tested in beta.

According to WABetaInfo, the new "Chat with us" feature will be available in the help section of the application. After interacting with this option, the user will receive a message from the support team directly in the WhatsApp chat. To solve basic queries, support can use answers generated by artificial intelligence, but if they do not answer the question, the user can request human assistance. Now users will be able to easily ask for help without having to go through several steps or search for answers in the FAQ section.
This feature is currently in beta and it is not yet clear when it will be available to all users. Nevertheless, this new approach to support can greatly facilitate the problem-solving process for those who lack standard AI answers.
It is worth noting that WhatsApp will stop supporting several outdated Android devices from 1 January 2025, which indicates the end of an era for smartphones released more than a decade ago.
