Samsung may release Galaxy Flip FE with Galaxy Flip 6 display
After launching its first foldable phone in 2019, Samsung has been actively working on developing this line. However, a more affordable model, the Galaxy Flip FE, may soon appear on the market, which is likely to become the brand's cheapest folding phone.
Here's What We Know
According to Ross Young, a display analyst and insider, the new phone will have the same display as the Galaxy Flip 6. This will allow it to maintain high image quality at a more affordable price. As the Galaxy Flip 6 features a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, the Flip FE is expected to have a similar matrix.
The display, manufactured by Samsung Display, will feature foldable LTPO OLED technology with Ultra Thin Glass (UTG) protection, HDR10+ certification and peak brightness of up to 2600 nits. This will provide users with high-quality images and brightness even in sunlight. As a result, even in a budget model, Samsung fans will be able to enjoy a premium screen.

Galaxy Flip FE is expected to be announced in the second half of 2025. According to rumours, the novelty will be powered by the Exynos 2400 processor, have 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. However, there is no exact data yet on whether the same batteries and cameras will be used as in the Galaxy Flip 6. If this is confirmed, the Galaxy Flip FE will be a very attractive proposition for those who want a foldable smartphone at an affordable price with high-quality features.
