Insider reveals full specifications of Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra cameras: new ultra-wide lens
The launch of Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is approaching, and new leaks are appearing every day. The latest one provides a detailed overview of the camera of the upcoming flagship.
Here's What We Know
According to the leaks, the Galaxy S25 Ultra's camera will be similar to the one in the Galaxy S24 Ultra, but with one important change - a new ultra-wide lens.
The main camera may once again feature a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP2 sensor with an optical size of 1/1.3″, a pixel size of 0.6-2.4 microns, f/1.7 aperture and a focal length of 23 mm. This sensor provides high resolution with excellent low-light capabilities.
The package also includes a 12MP Sony IMX754 sensor for a 3x telephoto lens with an optical size of 1/3.52″, pixel size of 1.12µm, f/2.4 aperture and a focal length of 67mm. For 5x zoom, Samsung uses a 50 MP Sony IMX854 sensor with an optical size of 1/2.52″ and f/3.4 aperture. The front camera, which will be used for selfies, has a 12 MP Samsung ISOCELL S5K3LU sensor with an optical size of 1/3.2″ and f/2.2 aperture.

The main change concerns the ultra-wide lens, which will receive a new 50 MP Samsung ISOCELL S5KJN3 (GN3) sensor. It has a larger size and 1.0 micron pixels, which will allow you to take pictures with better clarity and increased sensitivity to light.
Rumours also suggest that Samsung may introduce innovative ALoP (All Lenses on Prism) technology for telephoto lenses, which may appear in the Galaxy S25 Slim variant, but it is unknown whether it will make it to the Ultra model.
In addition, the entire Galaxy S25 series is expected to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, which will provide significant improvements in performance and energy efficiency. The models will also retain the 5000 mAh battery.
Prices for the new series are likely to increase.
