The Škoda Kamiq has a new Design Edition: what has changed?

Škoda has started 2025 with a new package of the Kamiq compact crossover for the UK. It is called the Design Edition and is intermediate between the entry-level SE Edition and the mid-level SE L Edition.
What's new about the Škoda Kamiq Design Edition?
Exterior:
- 17-inch alloy wheels.
- Black roof and mirrors.
- Tinted windows.
Inside:
- Sports seats with microsuede upholstery.
- Three-spoke steering wheel.
- Red accents on the front panel.
- Aluminium pedal covers, black ceiling and Ambient lighting.
It is available with two petrol engine options:
- 1.0 TSI 95bhp and a manual
- 1.0 TSI 116 hp in combination with a manual or 7-speed DSG transmission.
The base price for the Škoda Kamiq Design Edition starts at £25,855 (€31,110) for the version with the 95bhp engine. For a car with a 116 hp engine and DSG in this configuration, you have to pay at least £28,185 (€33,916).
Acceptance of orders will begin on 16 January, and the first cars are promised to be delivered in the spring.
