Samsung Galaxy S25 base model for global market tested in GeekBench with Snapdragon chip
As we know, Samsung is gearing up to launch its new flagship Galaxy S25 series this month. The base model of the Galaxy S25 was spotted on the GeekBench platform where it showed off its capabilities.
Here's What We Know
The benchmark tested the global version of the Galaxy S25 with model number SM-S931B, which features a custom version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor running at 4.47GHz, up from the standard 4.32GHz. The smartphone also has 12GB of RAM, confirming the increase in base RAM capacity in the new line-up.

In the single-core test, the device scored 2986 points, and in the multi-core test - 9355 points. This confirms that all variants of the Galaxy S25 are likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip only. The Galaxy S25 series is expected to be unveiled on January 22 and the actual sales of the smartphones are rumoured to start on February 3, 2025.
