Xiaomi presents RedmiBook (2025): thin laptops with Intel Core 5-220H, 19 hours of battery life and 2.8K displays
Xiaomi has officially introduced a new series of RedmiBook (2025) laptops to the Chinese market. The range includes two versions: 14-inch and 16-inch, powered by the Intel Core 5-220H processor.
Here's What We Know
The new RedmiBooks retain the slim 15.9 mm profile characteristic of the previous generation. The weight of the devices depends on the display size: The 14-inch model weighs only 1.36 kg, while the 16-inch model is slightly heavier at 1.65 kg. Both versions are equipped with displays with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and brightness of up to 400 nits, which ensures a smooth picture and comfortable viewing even in bright light.
The 14-inch version has a 2.8K resolution, while the 16-inch version has a 2.5K resolution.
The RedmiBook (2025) is powered by an Intel Core 5-220H processor. This modern solution provides high performance in everyday tasks and is suitable for multitasking. The devices run Windows 11, which adds to their versatility and integration with the latest software.
The laptops are equipped with a 72Wh battery that allows them to work for up to 19 hours without recharging. Xiaomi has also integrated 100W fast charging support using a GaN adapter. This replenishes the battery charge quickly.
Pricing options
RedmiBook (2025) is available in the following configurations:
- 16/512 GB - 4,799 yuan ($660);
- 16/1 TB - 5 099 yuan ($700);
- 32/1 TB - 5,399 yuan ($740).
The 14-inch version is 200 yuan ($27) cheaper in each configuration. During the launch period, promotional prices will be available, which are 500 yuan ($70) lower than the standard recommended retail price.
