Compact Ergonomic Keyboard returns: Incase to produce updated Microsoft device
Microsoft has dropped its compact ergonomic keyboard in 2023, but thanks to Incase, the popular gadget will be back on sale.
Here's What We Know
Incase is partnering with Microsoft to release a new version of the Microsoft Compact Ergonomic Keyboard, with the new manufacturer using the same components and supply chain as the US giant did when it released the keyboard.
The device features a special modular and contoured design and is split into two halves. The keyboard features ultra-sensitive scissor keys with a 1.3mm stroke, which reduces the force required to press. A soft, ergonomic hand rest makes long periods of typing easier.
The keyboard is equipped with a full set of basic keys, including a special Copilot button for quick call to an AI assistant.
The Compact Ergonomic Keyboard can connect to three different devices via Bluetooth and runs on two AAA batteries, which Incase claims will provide up to 36 months of battery life.
The Microsoft Compact Ergonomic Keyboard will go on sale "in early 2025" at a price of $119.99.
Incase also plans to release other accessories designed by Microsoft.
