iPhone 17 Air can be as thin as 6.25 mm
Apple is preparing to release a new ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air smartphone, which, according to the latest data from Sisa Journal, will be only 6.25 mm thick.

If this data is true, the iPhone 17 Air will be the thinnest iPhone in history and will surpass the 6.9 mm record set by the iPhone 6. The new product is likely to be 20% thinner than the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus and 25% thinner than the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models.
According to the new data, the iPhone 17 Air is likely to be only 6.25 mm thick. If this is confirmed, the new product will be the thinnest iPhone in history, beating the previous record of 6.9 mm set by the iPhone 6.
Samsung may also release a super-thin Galaxy S25 Slim smartphone, which will also be around 6 mm thick.
Despite some discrepancies in the rumours regarding design and specifications, most sources agree that the iPhone 17 Air will have a 6.6-inch screen. According to Apple's supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the new product will be equipped with an A19 chip, a dynamic island, a single main camera, and a 5G modem of Apple's own production. The RAM will be 8 GB.
Apple is planning to release all iPhone 17 models in September, and until then, we can expect new rumours about the iPhone 17 Air.
Recently, a concept designer presented what the iPhone 17 Pro Max Slim might look like, based on rumours of an updated camera design. The video also shows a likely ultra-thin version of the smartphone called the iPhone 17 Air.
