The leaks continue: photos of the Nintendo Switch 2's Joy-Con controller have surfaced online
Leaks related to Nintendo's new console continue to pour in.
It's believed that its announcement An Italian website has revealed a possible launch date for the Nintendo Switch 2 (although February is also being called), but it seems that there's not much need for this as almost all information about the "Switch 2" (the name is tentative) has already been made publicly available.
Here's What We Know
Photos of what are claimed to be the Joy-Con controllers from the Nintendo Switch 2 have surfaced on Chinese social media. The images confirm that the input device has not undergone major changes: the gadget also has the familiar SL and SR buttons, a connection key and several ports. The blue part protrudes slightly from the Joy-Con's body, which confirms that the controllers can be attached to the Switch 2, and as previously reported, this will be done via magnetic locking.
It's still hard to judge how much the Joy-Con shown relates to the Switch 2, but sources have previously stated that we shouldn't expect much difference between the first and second versions of the device.
A rough comparison of the new Joy-Con and the old model (right)
Notably, the Joy-Con's serial number is visible in the photo, so it shouldn't be hard for Nintendo to track down the leak and punish those responsible. But if that's the point, after so many leaks?
