32 GB of video memory and 3.5-slot cooler: leaked GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card packaging reveals important technical details of the new product

Already on the 6th of January (on the night of the 7th of January, European time) at CES 2025 will be the speech of Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, during which it is expected to announce a new line of graphics cards GeForce RTX 50-series.

The company hasn't made any announcements yet, but leaks about new GPUs regularly appear on the web. And today, shortly before the official announcement, important information about the flagship NVIDIA GeForce GeForce RTX 5090 was received.

Here's What We Know

A photo of the GeForce RTX 5090 packaging from iChill has appeared in the network. The box clearly shows that the flagship graphics card will get 32 GB of GDDR7 video memory. It also became known that it will be equipped with a 3.5-slot cooler.

Recall, earlier it was reported that the RTX 5090 will cost buyers $1900/€1800 and this is only the recommended price. It will feature 21,760 CUDA cores, memory bandwidth of around 1.8 TB/s and a TDP of 575W, which is 125W more than the RTX 4090. Plus, the RTX 5090 will get twice as much VRAM compared to the RTX 5080.

The RTX 5080 is expected to be the first RTX 5080 graphics card to go on sale, followed by the RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070 and a few more budget models, and only then will customers be able to purchase the flagship NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090.
