Huawei has launched a new low-cost smartphone Huawei nova 13i with 108 MP main camera
Huawei has launched a new nova 13i smartphone, which is the successor to the nova 12i model released in March 2024.
Here's What We Know
The new smartphone is equipped with a 108-megapixel main camera and Snapdragon 680 chipset. The novelty does not differ much from the previous model nova 12i. The main camera remains the main advantage of the device, but the other cameras are less impressive: 2-megapixel depth sensor and 8-megapixel front camera. Due to the limitations of the Snapdragon 680 chipset, the main camera can only record videos in 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second.
The smartphone features a 6.7-inch LCD display with 1080p+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. This display also supports Always On Display mode. Apart from this, the nova 13i features a 5,000mAh battery with 40W SuperCharge Turbo fast charging support, which can charge the device up to 62 per cent in half an hour.
The smartphone runs on EMUI 14.2 shell, has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and will be available in two storage variants: 8/128GB and 8/256GB.
The Huawei nova 13i is available in blue and white colours with gold accents and Super Star Orbit Ring around the camera. The Huawei nova 13i is already on sale in Mexico and Malaysia for around $290 for the 256GB storage version.
