The longer Nintendo remains silent about its new console, the more unofficial information about it emerges.

Just today we wrote about photos of the new Joy-Con controller, as a strong suggestion has emerged about one of the first games to be ported to Switch 2.

Here's What We Know

YouTube blogger Doctre81 found a mention in the LinkedIn profile of former QLOC senior programmer Łukasz Łoziński that he worked on versions of superhero co-op action game Gotham Knights for two "unreleased platforms".

It's hard to argue that we're talking about a Switch 2 port specifically (although there are no more options), but recall that back in 2023, the ESRB website showed an age rating for the Switch version of Gotham Knights, but the game wasn't released on Japanese handheld consoles. Presumably, the developers felt that they should wait for a more powerful device to be released to ensure the action game works properly.

Of course, first we should wait for the Switch 2 presentation, after which we will surely hear information about which games will be ported to the new console, but those who are interested in Gotham Knights can probably already look for a partner to play with.

The Switch 2 is rumoured to be unveiled on January 8.
