Free up your SSD and stock up on RAM: Final Fantasy VII Rebirth PC system requirements have been revealed

Shortly before the release of the PC version of the highly praised Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, publisher Square Enix has published the game's final system requirements.

Here's What We Know

Rebirth's hardware requirements may upset many gamers. To run the game at minimum settings you will need RTX 2060 level graphics card, 12 GB of video memory and 16 GB of RAM, and to install Final Fantasy VII Rebirth you will need 155 GB of free space on SSD.

System Requirements

Minimum (low settings; 1080p at 30 fps):

  • Operating system: 64-bit Windows 10;
  • processor: Intel Core i3-8100 or AMD Ryzen 5 1400;
  • graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, AMD Radeon RX 6600 or Intel Arc A580;
  • DirectX 12
  • RAM: 16 GB;
  • video memory: 12 GB;
  • SSD space: 155 GB.

Recommended (medium settings; 1080p at 60 fps):

  • Operating system: 64-bit Windows 11;
  • processor: Intel Core i5-10400, Intel Core i7-8700, AMD Ryzen 5 5600 or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X;
  • graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT;
  • DirectX 12;
  • RAM: 16 GB;
  • video memory: 12 GB;
  • SSD space: 155 GB.

Ultra settings (high settings; 4K at 60 fps):

  • operating system: 64-bit Windows 11;
  • processor: Intel Core i7-10700 or AMD Ryzen 7 5700X;
  • graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX;
  • DirectX 12;
  • RAM: 16 GB;
  • video memory: 16 GB;
  • SSD space: 155 GB.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will release on PC on 23 January.
