Dreame will unveil the X50 robot hoover at CES 2025, which can climb stairs
Dreame has introduced a new robot hoover X50, which is able to climb small stairs and overcome obstacles up to 6 cm high.
Here's What We Know
This model features the ProLeap system, which uses motorised 'legs' underneath the hoover to climb above stairs. The X50 is already available in China and has generated a lot of interest thanks to a teaser on YouTube. Dreame claims that the X50 can manoeuvre under furniture and identify up to 200 types of objects, which helps it detect obstacles in its path.
In addition to its ladder-climbing abilities, the X50 has a built-in hot water mop and a specialised hair sweeping brush to prevent tangling.
The Dreame X50 will make its U.S. debut at CES 2025 and will be priced at $1699. Pre-orders for the X50 open on 7 January, and official sales will begin on 14 February on Amazon and the Dreame website.
