New trailer for The Last of Us season two finally reveals release date: premiere is scheduled for April 2025
HBO has confirmed that the second season of The Last of Us will be released in April 2025, accompanying this news with a new trailer that focuses on the character of Abby, played by Caitlin Dever.
Here's What We Know
The new trailer shows Abby passing through the hospital, familiar to viewers from the first season and the game dilogy. At the same time, we were shown familiar characters, Jackson, Seattle, and several scenes that we could already see in the game, but it is worth noting that the series plans to expand the universe of The Last of Us and the events of the sequel, so we are waiting for a lot of new things.
The official description of the second season says that "Five years after the events of the first season, Joel and Ellie are drawn into conflict with each other and a world even more dangerous and unpredictable than the one they left behind."
So now we are looking forward to the premiere!
