Lenovo shows an early prototype of the Legion Go 2 portable game console

The first portable game console Lenovo Legion Go was released in October 2023. At CES 2025, it became known that the company is working on the second generation of the device. Only an early prototype was shown, but some interesting information about the upcoming device is already available.
Unlike the Legion Go S, the Legion Go 2 will also have a modular design with attached joysticks and a stand on the main module with a large screen. The OLED touchscreen display will have a diagonal of 8.8 inches, operate at a variable frequency of up to 144 Hz and have a peak brightness of 500 nits. The new console will have 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory and a battery that has been increased to 74 Wh. The console will also receive an updated exclusive AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor with RDNA 3.5 graphics, and the maximum storage capacity will be 2 TB.
