Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League turned out to be a failure. Poor reviews and low sales could not but leave their mark on Rocksteady, and as Eurogamer found out, just before the end of 2024, some of the game's authors were fired.
Here's What We Know
"Half a dozen" employees confirmed the loss of their jobs on condition of anonymity. Among them are programmers, artists, and employees of the quality control department.
In September, the company reduced the quality control department by almost half - from 33 to 15 people.
At the same time, Warner Bros. claimed to have lost about $200 million on the game.
So let this story be a signal to publishers that we do not need game services, which are already abundant.
