May Mobility unveiled an autonomous electric minibus at CES 2025
May Mobility has used the CES 2025 show to unveil a new autonomous minibus that will go into production next year. The vehicle seats up to 30 passengers and can reach speeds of up to 45mph (72km/h).
Here's What We Know
The minibus has been created in partnership with European manufacturer Tecnobus. It is designed for use in urban areas as well as airports and corporate campuses.
May Mobility hasn't revealed much about the minibus, but it has received a suite of cameras and sensors. The company also confirmed that the minibus is all-electric and is complete with replaceable batteries that minimise downtime.
The first buses are expected to be ready in the first half of 2026, with them hitting the road later that year. It is not yet known where they will be deployed, but May Mobility said the model is homologated for use in Canada and Europe.
