Qualcomm has indirectly confirmed that Samsung's new Galaxy S25 line of flagship smartphones will feature Snapdragon 8 Elite chipsets.

Here's What We Know

The announcement comes after Samsung announced the date of the Galaxy Unpacked event where the Galaxy S25 series will be unveiled. The South Korean tech giant published a post on social network X about it, and the official @Snapdragon account reposted the post with the words "See you there", confirming the use of Snapdragon chips.

Until now, there have only been leaks and rumours, but no official confirmation of which chipset will be used in the new devices. Now it is clear that it will be Snapdragon 8 Elite or its overclocked version "for Galaxy".

Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S25 series in just a few days, on 22 January, and this news will be a big relief for users who didn't want to see the Exynos chipset in the new smartphones due to performance concerns.
