New Casio 2100 Series watches with Bluetooth and solar charging now available in the US
Two new models of Casio watches, the GAB2100CD1A7 and GAB2100CD1A4, are now available for purchase in the United States. These devices were announced last year and appeared on the European market for the first time.
Here's What We Know
They are part of the new Casio 2100 series, developed in collaboration with the Charles Darwin Foundation, which is dedicated to the conservation of natural resources, including the protection of unique species of flora and fauna in the Galapagos Islands.
The GAB2100CD models were inspired by the Galapagos marine iguanas and penguins that the Charles Darwin Foundation is trying to protect.
The GAB2100CD1A4 features a red and black bio-based case and strap, emphasising the natural approach to design, while the GAB2100CD1A7 is in classic white and black.
The main feature of this watch is the Tough Solar charging system, which provides continuous operation for more than seven months on a single charge.
Another significant advantage is the support of Bluetooth connection, which allows users to use a special Casio Watches application for functions such as reminders, phone search, automatic time adjustment using signals from the Internet.
In addition, the watch supports 38 world time zones, making it ideal for people who travel frequently or have international business. Like other Casio models, this watch is also equipped with LED backlight, stopwatch, countdown timer and daily alarms.
The new Casio GAB2100CD1A7 and GAB2100CD1A4 watches are available in the brand's online store in the US for USD 170. This is a standard price for similar models such as the GAB2100CT-5A. However, on Amazon, the same watch can be purchased at a discount for $136.
