Rumours about the Nintendo Switch 2 are growing in number. Now there is information that the future console will support SD cards.

Here's What We Know

A GameStop employee took a picture of the store's product database and posted it on reddit. The photo shows 256 GB and 512 GB MicroSD Express cards for Switch 2, which are sold for about £40 and £50 respectively.

SD Express is a newer standard for SD memory cards with significantly faster data transfer rates.

So you'll probably be able to expand the console's memory yourself to download and enjoy many games.

As a reminder, Nintendo's partner presented a detailed model of the new console and started advertising its accessories. The Switch 2 will also feature Joy-Cons with an optical sensor that will allow them to perform mouse functions, according to the accessory manufacturer Genki.
