NVIDIA unveiled its super-powered Project DIGITS AI computer at CES 2025. One of the main components of the device is a specially developed GB10 Grace Blackwell processor, developed in collaboration with MediaTek, which has a processing power of up to a petaflops.

Project Digits is intended for a narrow category of users, but NVIDIA has big plans to use its processor.

Here's What We Know

During a meeting with investors, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang revealed that his company plans to capitalise on the development of the Blackwell processor. He said that MediaTek will be able to sell these chips to third-party companies for installation in their gadgets, and NVIDIA is developing some other plan to use this technology.

Huang's abstract language suggests that NVIDIA plans to fully enter the high-power CPU market, using Project Digits, but targeting a broader audience.

We're going to make the chip a mainstream product. We're going to support it with all the tools we use to support professional, high-end software, and PC makers will make it available to end users.
