Agent 47 is more in demand than ever: Hitman World of Assassination trilogy has attracted 75 million players
Danish studio IO Interactive shared the success of the trilogy of stealth action games Hitman World of Assassination.
Recall, the first part of this compilation, which since 2023 is sold as a single game, was released in 2016, and the trilogy ended in 2021, but players regularly receive new content and special missions.

The developers said Hitman World of Assassination has been played by 75 million players, with over a million unique users playing it in December alone.
Such indicators make the trilogy the most successful project in the long history of the Hitman franchise. The increased attention to World of Assassination was probably due to the appearance of the new Elusive Target, played by Jean-Claude Van Damme, as well as the scandal associated with his predecessor - MMA fighter Conor McGregor.
Only 40 per cent of players who set out to eliminate the virtual Van Damme were successful. The longest mission lasted 7 hours, and the most nimble killer coped in 21 seconds.
Hitman World of Assassination is available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch, and in March the game will be available on PlayStation VR2.
